A graduate of the Vitebsk gymnasium became one of the winners of the International Olympiad in Earth Sciences

Belarusian schoolchildren have become winners of the International Olympiad in Earth Sciences. In 2024, the competition was held in Beijing (People's Republic of China) from August 8 to 16.

Victoria Zhilinskaya, a graduate of I.I. Lyudnikov Gymnasium No. 5 in Vitebsk, was awarded a gold medal in team competitions with peers from Spain, India, China, and Germany.

As part of the theoretical block, students answered questions on geology, paleogeography, climatology, hydrology and oceanography, and astronomy. According to the results of the competition, Victoria Zhilinskaya, a graduate of Gymnasium No. 5 in Vitebsk named after I.I. Lyudnikov, won the individual bronze medal
