Lukashenko lists what is truly sacred to protect in one's life

During a visit to a church on Christmas, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko named the sacred things that everyone must protect in their life, BelTA has learned.

“Recently, there’s been a lot of talk, very frequent talk, especially from civil servants, and I suspect our clergy have also begun to ‘catch’ this habit: ‘For the Homeland, for the party, and all that!’ You know, I’ll tell you simply, I thought about this recently: we have people to fight and lead the way for the Homeland. I ask you, please, to focus on your family, your children, your loved ones. Remember that in any difficult situation, you must protect precisely these sacred things in your life. From all this, the defense of our Homeland will be formed,” the president said.

On the joyous Christmas holiday, the head of state once again extended wishes for health, success, and peace to all. “I say this often: Do what you should do at your workplace. A doctor should be at their hospital or clinic, a teacher in their school, a professor at their university, a civil servant and clergy at their posts. If everyone does this, everything will be fine. I’ll handle the rest,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
